I arrived just prior to sunset. On the way I used most of the time to speak with Paige, to concur about the past day’s events, and about advance plans being made. It was the middle of summer, and nothing was going on here. The town was very quite, and not many tourists were about. I made a visit with this small police precinct next to the capitol building downtown. I decided to sleep in the car for awhile, and would drive overnight into the early morning to Jackson MS.
