By midafternoon of this second day of the IFCC event we had met hundreds of Fire Chiefs from just about everywhere. It was an amazing event. It was here that a Fire Chief from Alaska and Hawaii signed the banner. So, in fact, we would have representation from all 50 of the United States on the banner. The banner also received signatures from many different Continents, and several languages. This was interesting to us because we understood that September 11th happened in America, but the effects were felt globally.
