Mississippi State Capitol, 400 High St.
Ronnie Musgrove, Governor
It was a long drive through the night, and Paige had kept me awake most of the drive while talking on the cell phone. I watched the sunrise as I approached the city. There was nothing set up here with the banner, plans were not always got confirmed in time.
I made a visit with the FD, and they had informed me the governor was in. So I decided to make my way over the Capitol. I introduced myself to the receptionist, and I was invited to bring the banner in. The governor was very sincere, and delighted to have been apart of this historical September 11th memorial project. Synchronistic happenings like this were often reassuring, energizing, and kept me believing in the project.
