It was 101 degrees in the shade, but it was a dry heat. Right! We took in the desert sites as we shared driving the last stretch of highway to the West Coast. This would come to symbolize the mark of accomplishing our halfway goal. Here in LA, we had good friends that we were looking forward to seeing and would be able to stay with. We arrived just before closing time to meet our friend Mark Acetelli at his place of work, Chaz Dean Studio. We laid a few sections of the banner out in the parking lot for him, and his coworkers to sign.
