We had no scheduled events planned for this day either; it was planned as a driving day only. We left after spending the morning with Paige’s family, and making some photographs of the city. However, nearby the highway we were getting on was a small FD, in which we impulsively stopped to visit. We felt it would be good energy, and get us back into our project mood. It was a fun visit, and they were excited we came in. The drive across northern WA to Kellogg ID was breathtaking. We could clearly see the snow caps of Mt. Rainier. We also make good use of the drive time to do some tour advance work.
